2007 - Recruited as the figurative, portrait artist for the Fat Cat Ltd, Art and Fine Craft 

             Gallery in Greensboro, North Carolina.

2004 - Won Best of Show in painting at the Matthews Alive Festival in North Carolina.

2004 - One of three artists to start the 'Artists of Matthews' group that eventually became 

             The Matthews Art Guild.

2004 - 'April, let's go to the beach' won Best of Show in The Summer Exhibit,
            Broward Art Guild in Fort Lauderdale, Florida - Judge: Robert Gross, 

             Curator for Old Davie School Museum

2003 - Exhibition, lecture, discussion and slide presentation; 'The Artist Talks, Inspiration 

             and Creation' at the North Regional/Broward County Community Library, 

             in Coconut Creek, Florida.

2003 - Chosen to paint murals in 16 resident rooms at Fort Lauderdale Health and Rehab
           Center - Stimulating their memories and interests while respecting their privacy.

2002 - 'Happy Game' Second Place Award at the 52nd Anniversary Exhibition - Broward Art

2001 - Commissioned to create large-scale murals in Fort Lauderdale Health and 

           Rehabilitation Center, starting the 'Art on Walls' project - 

           Dedicated to involving people living in institutions in the creative process.
